While I am certain we in the Panhandle will have an easier time than central and eastern Florida did, I heard a possible 20 inches of rain this weekend. While it will just make my life miserable, it will cause numerous problems for the city, the county & those who live on lower ground than I do.

In what ways will it make you life, and in your business, miserable? My greatest hopes are with you. I'm writing this at one in the morning of the 21st, and I see numerous reports of historic rains in Florida from the stalled storm. Is that what you've seen? Somehow or another I always thought you were over on the Eastern Coast, near Daytona Beach, Vero Beach, those places.
Once I had a small prospect for a job in Fort Walton Beach -- one of the many "what-ifs" that I've had to wonder about, ever since.
