Stop this Madness (aka Dubya!)

Dubya and his entire sicko administration is at it again, trying to ensure that women end up barefoot, pregnant and stuck in the kitchen. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the outrageous attempt to take a woman's rights, this time. No, they aren't working on outlawing abortion at the moment, they are trying to equate BIRTH CONTROL with ABORTION.

That's right. The pill? Same as an abortion. The IUD? Same as an abortion.

These rules pose a serious threat to providers and uninsured and low-income Americans seeking care. They could prevent providers of federally-funded family planning services, like Medicaid and Title X, from guaranteeing their patients access to the full range of comprehensive family planning services. They'll also build significant barriers to counseling, education, contraception and preventive health services for those who need it most: low-income and uninsured women and men.

So says Hillary, so says me.

You can read the entire post at Huffington Post, or just sign the petition. Or you can let them dictate what's done with YOUR body, or that of your wife or daughter.

Stop this madness.

When I first heard about this I thought it was a sick joke. Then when I discovered that it was serious, I almost cried. We have a bunch of horny old guys jazzed up on the blue pill and then they want to make women susceptible to eternal pregnancy. God, I could not hate this bullshit administration more.

Because just about all of pregnancy and also, in most cases, the majority of the nurturing and anything else that happens for the next 18 years or so as well, is in the hands of women, I never understood why people would accept leaving the matter in the hands of men, especially thoughtless, uncaring, hard=hearted older men. They have no stake in it whatsoever, not to mention the understanding or the personal experience in coming up with a child -- except as, often, a disinterested spectator.

Off-topic, in case you don't see my answer to your comment about McCain on my weiblog a few days ago, check with Steve Bates about those crashed Navy planes. He's given the info on it at least two times that I know of.
