Sick of the Rain

I know it is necessary, that without rain everything will shrivel and die or, as usually happens in Florida, burn. But I don't know why we seem to be receiving a year's worth of rain in a week. We are getting inches and inches of rain. We've probably dumped more out of the pool than we put in it all last year. The grass needs to be cut. The dog needs a bath. And still the rain comes down.

I live in Florida because I LIKE the sun and the heat. Can we get a little bit of that for a few days now? Just 3. Preferably over the weekend!
