It's about time DADT was repealed. Santa came early this year!
Isn't it wonderful???
But do keep in mind that originally DADT was Clinton's attempt to let gays serve without being ASKED about their lifestyle. It was a poor compromise, but I do think his heart was in the right place and that was as far as he could push at that time.
