You Asked For It

Well, maybe you didn't, and I know damned well I didn't, but if the voters of Arizona's 3rd district vote for and elect this guy*, they deserve everything they get.

The list should include (but will not be limited to):

Higher taxes
Sexual scandal
Dirty dealings
Lies, lies and lies

Go forth and vote, Arizona.

Isn't it great when Florida isn't the biggest piece of crap in the nation???

*It almost physically hurt to link to that article, I could not bring myself to actually say his name or anything else about him.

I couldn't help clicking to see what you were talking about. This guy is actually pretty run-of-the-mill among the latest crop of candidates that the Repubs regularly foist upon the political scene. Except that this year especially, there's a huge mob of these guys and gals, all hoping, with the greatest cynicism in the world, to be able to cash in at the ballot box by saying the most idiotic things they can think of, to attract voters stupefied and turned stupid by hatred and resentment.

I always thought Dan Quayle's spelling mishap was picayune in the extreme, and I think it was instead just the general recognition of the dunderhead that he was that eventually did him in. Now this son of his has saddled Quayle with a much more serious charge, of carrying on some bad seed that he, seeing himself, had no business planting.

Right now New Jersey isn't looking so great either with Chris Christie in the governor's office. (And why would any parent whose last name is Christie name their kid Chris?). I blame Corzine. If he'd stayed in the senate instead of having to be governor, we wouldn't be stuck with Christie now. Corzine was disliked by both parties!
